Freeman & Company is a fast-growing CPA firm with 160+ monthly bookkeeping clients and climbing. Every one needs a month-end review (reconciliations tied out, balances checked, anything missing flagged), and that review work was eating well over a hundred hours a month of senior reviewers' time.
We built custom connectors that put Claude directly inside the firm's bookkeeping-review platform, Double, and inside QuickBooks. On top of them, we're building a month-end review agent around how their reviewers actually work: it reads the reconciliations, ties out the balances, flags what's missing and drafts the reviewer's comments right in Double.
Both connectors are live, and the review agent is taking shape against real closes. It's designed to take the first pass on every client's month-end, learning each client's quirks from past review comments, and to give the team back upwards of 80 hours a month.
